 Elliott Mondry is a co-owner of and head writer at Calamity Comics.  He is a Chicago-       based lawyer, writer and the owner of EJM Publishing LLC.  He’s passionate about         
 helping others through storytelling and believes visual mediums are an incredible way to

Alicia Madden is a co-owner of and head illustrator at Calamity Comics.  She is a self-taught illustrator who lives in Chicago's Far North Side. Her artistic style is influenced by DC comics, American animation and German Expressionism; as well as artists like Charles Dana Gibson, Jhonen Vasquez and Henry Darger. She is a collector of all things Wizard of Oz, a friend to every insect and will gladly break into song with anyone who knows the words to Hairspray or Wicked.  IG: @aliciapopillia

   Blair Shiff is the editor-in-chief at Calamity Comics.  She is an Emmy Award-winning
   journalist who has worked for multiple publications, TV stations and national news
   networks. A native Texan, she lived all over the country before settling in Charlotte,
   North Carolina, with her husband and fellow journalist Andy Buck and their dog Obi-
   Wan. She loves reading, traveling and screaming until she's hoarse while watching
